Rotary International’s theme for the 2011-2012 Rotary year is “Reach within to Embrace Humanity”, and that will be my inspiration and my goal during my term as President of the Rotary Club of Port Townsend.
I will ask members of our club and the citizens of Port Townsend and East Jefferson County to reach within themselves to find the means and the passion to support our community’s many needs during these uncertain financial times.
We will also reach beyond our borders to do our part in supporting international projects that are working to end polio worldwide, develop clean water resources, house orphans, send emergency supplies to areas of natural disaster, and finance micro-loans in the developing world.
Please join me in making our community and our world a better place to live through Rotary!
We are non political, non religious, and open to all cultures, races and creeds.
Yours in Rotary
